FiTwithYourKiD: Parent-Child Acrobatics and Family Fitness at Home

FiTwithYourKiD is the family fitness platform of the BERLINJOHN Family from Berlin. Parents and children train together right in the living room, guided by Junia and JET: parent-child acrobatics, warm-ups, fitness games and artistic skills, suitable from age two upward. The real difference to typical kids' sport programs sits in one word — together: never the child alone while a parent watches, but both moving side by side. Every session stays short enough for a normal weekday: no video runs longer than six minutes, and every move is called out step by step, including the grips a parent uses to hold their child safely. Alongside the training runs a second strand: tilt-steered movement games and an AI coach that builds plans by age and energy — experience and edutainment, both rooted in experiential learning. Getting started costs nothing: 8 of the 43 Arena videos play without a subscription, one free account is enough. Families who want full access, including premium acrobatics and the AI coach, sign up at fitwithyourkid.de/en/membership — cancel any week, payment handled through Stripe.

Parent-child acrobatics at home — how it works

At FiTwithYourKiD, parents and children do not train side by side, they train together. A figure only works when both pay attention to each other: one carries, the other balances. That is what makes parent-child acrobatics so valuable for families — while trying, wobbling and trying again, trust in each other grows along the way.

Two roles: base and flyer

The base carries and gives support — between parent and child, almost always the adult. The flyer balances, holds body tension and trusts being guided safely. Knowing your own task lets you focus on it completely, and that focus is what keeps the figures safe.

Practising safely in the living room

Practise on a soft, non-slip surface with room on every side. Every figure starts and ends with a clear call such as "up" and "down", and the child may say "stop" at any time. In the videos every move is called out step by step, including the grips a parent uses to hold their child safely.

Right for every age

The exercises suit children from age two. The youngest experience acrobatics as a swinging and cuddling game close to the floor; nursery and pre-school children build tension on purpose and learn first figures such as the table, the plane and the wheelbarrow. Besides age, the child’s weight and size and the strength of the base count.
